While we weren’t convinced by the claims of virtual surround sound, the audio performance is good for a thin TV, and a number of different sound modes means you should be able to find an audio profile that suits your needs. As well as that, you’re getting ‘virtual surround sound’, with the TV upscaling stereo content into 7.1.2-channel sound. The Alpha a9 Gen 5 processor is designed to offer excellent object enhancement and dynamic tone mapping for more real-looking images. And the C2 has just about every cutting-edge feature, making it fantastic value after a series of big price cuts. It's now been surpassed by the LG C3, but that TV is only an iterative improvement, and it costs significantly more. ❌ You need HDR 10+ support: Despite offering Dolby Vision and HDR 10, HDR 10+ is absent from the C2įor those tempted by the deep blacks and infinite contrast of an OLED TV, the LG C2 Series is your best bet for value. ❌ You like a tidy TV: The C2 sadly doesn't offer any cable management options to keep the TV tidy
